Original piece from Mr. Wang Shiying, a well-known painter. He was born in 1950, studied painting in Guilin Academy of Fine Arts and obtained B.A. degree in 1980. The cranes' beauty and their spectacular mating dances have made them highly symbolic birds in many cultures with records dating back to ancient times. Plum Blossoms, one of the most beloved flowers in China, bloom most vibrantly amidst the winter snow, after most other plants have shed their leaves, and before other flowers appear. Because they blossom in winter, the plum blossom is a member of "Three Friends of the Cold", along with pine, and bamboo, symbolizes nobleness. Dimension: Approx. 38”X14.25”
